Diabetes - A Blessing in DisguiseWe diabetics have been given a second opportunity to lead a better life in a better lifestyle, a second chance of survival. By simply managing the eatables, daily routines and the exercising patterns we can live a normal life. Have you ever had the chance of meeting with a diabetic person who has this blessing for 20 or more years and by that time he is leading a pleasurable life by managing his sugar levels. If you ever had the chance of meeting with such a person, ask him to compare the two phases of his life. Believe me he will prefer his second part of life, the one with diabetes as that phase provided him the chance to lead his life in a better lifestyle. He focused in more depth on his specific health concerns and eating habits in this phase. Thus a much better health was the reward. I am a Urethane Technologist by profession. I don't know much about diabetes. I only know that diabetes is a disease we can only fight if we have the right knowledge.I know that if I will not learn I will die a miserable death like my grand parents, so I am in a continuous process of learning each and every day. I have been diagnosed pre-diabetes last year. By eating proper balanced diet, exercise and following "Eat to live and not live to eat" we can live a healthy, joyful life just like non-diabetics.
